sirius...here are some tips on how to prepare you uniform...got them from ma'ams & squadmates.

.the way to tuck in your full-u blouse is to pull it all the way from the bottom of your skirt. tucking in is very important so that you don't look sloppy.
.oh & the night before parade, please check you positions of badges thoroughly. put the blouse on to check whether the positions are straight before folding it.
.seasoned beret makes you look smart! to make it very seasoned, place it under the iron(switched off) when you reach home after parade. but of course la, hang it dry first. place it under the iron until the next parade. if it's still not seasoned, iron it the night before the next parade.

& here are some of the ways to do drills properly.

.during hentak, push(lock) your leg all the way back when you put it down so that you won't move forward.
.to make a sharp turn, push at least 1 leg all the way back; the leg which don't have to be banged. eg. when turn to right, push your right leg all the way back, turn sharply to the right, then bang with left leg.
.during sedia, don't grasp you hand too much until your tumb is on the same line as the seam line of the skirt. also put your hand beside the seam line. not behind it.
.marching...urm just lock your arms so that the coordinations of our arms are the same.
